Look Good NAKED!
Look Good NAKED!
Yes! How to feel better and look good naked.
We all have our own insecurities; your confidence might be low and you may not be happy. Some may feel ashamed or low about what we see in the mirror and what others might see.
That feeling of…..Ugh! I’ll wear a t-shirt, a tracksuit or I just wont look in a mirror or look down.
We all have to remember that it’s our mental state that needs changing. What we read and what we see has a big impact on us as individuals and let’s be honest, who actually looks like what we see in magazines…?
Time to change & feel confident in YOUR very own birthday suit!
What does it mean to be confident in your body?
Being confident in your body means having a positive and accepting attitude towards your physical self, regardless of your size, shape, or appearance. It involves feeling comfortable and content in your own skin.
Body confidence is made up of the following elements:
Positive Self-Perception
Body confidence means having a favourable perception of your body. It involves appreciating your body’s unique features and understanding that beauty comes in various forms.
Self-Acceptance
It’s about accepting your body as it is and not constantly striving for unrealistic ideals. This acceptance fosters a sense of peace and self-love.
Healthy Body Image
Body confidence is linked to a healthy body image. It’s recognizing that your worth is not solely determined by your appearance but by your qualities, abilities, and character.
Freedom from Judgment
It involves liberating yourself from societal and self-imposed judgments about your body. It’s reframing negative thoughts and embracing self-compassion.
Embracing What Your Body Can Do
Body confidence also relates to appreciating your body for its abilities and functionality, not just its appearance.
How can I improve my body image and self-esteem?
Start training!
Firstly, keep yourself active, start training, it doesn’t matter where you start or how. The first steps are always the hardest, but trust me, they are the most rewarding. Training will be a start in making you feel better about yourself. Be consistent and give it time, time is the key – Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither are we. When you start to see your progression, your confidence will grow.
Fuel your body right.
We hear it a lot, “you are what you eat”… Provide yourself with the right fuel to not only make you feel good about being naked, but to give your body the right nutrition to give you energy, this will make you feel better and have a more positive perspective. This does not mean don’t have this, don’t have that. It’s to be mindful of what you eat & how it can impact your image of yourself. We all know that naughty food can make us feel so bloated & sluggish, keep a balanced diet and you will be rewarded.
Hydrate yourself
This is key to having the body work to maximum potential, it helps with making you feel better and it can help improve your skin (or at least it does seem to help make the skin glow!). Keeping hydrated also gets rid of toxins in the body, which helps with the everyday function.
Mindset matters
We as humans have an incredibly bad habit of dwelling on negativity. Now focus on positives. If someone compliments you, perfect! Take it on board. If we are constantly thinking negatively, we are consistently in a downward spiral. This is easier said than done, I get it, but surrounding yourself with positive vibes can only be a good thing and lift you up mentally.
Sort out your social media
Yes, social media has great potential, but don’t get caught up in what everyone else looks like. Here is a little secret – most are fake, filters & a lot of editing. So declutter your social media feeds – unfollow and mute anyone and anything that makes you feel bad. Honestly, it’ll free up space in your mind and you’ll see less of those things that make you feel bad about yourself.
Wear clothes you feel comfortable in
Choose clothing that makes you feel comfortable and confident. Dressing in a way that suits your style and makes you feel good about yourself can positively impact your body image. If something you loved to wear doesn’t fit anymore – see if you can buy it in your size; whether new or through a reselling site.
Surround yourself with good, positive people
Spend time with people who uplift and support you. Surrounding yourself with positive influences can boost your self-esteem. Whether it’s existing friends and family, or meeting new people through hobbies, interests and community groups, being with genuinely good people will make you feel better about yourself.
Seek professional help
If negative body image and self-esteem issues persist, consider seeking support from a therapist or counsellor. They can provide strategies and tools tailored to your specific needs.
Look after YOUR body and take pride in yourself. You only have one body, look after it the best you can, follow the above and most importantly – Look and feel good Naked!!!
