Why To Carry On With Home Workouts
Why To Carry On With Home Workouts
Unless you’re fortunate enough to have plenty of kit you can still ramp up the weights as well as the volume, most people are bored of them by now.
Home workouts:
Unless you’re fortunate enough to have plenty of kit you can still ramp up the weights as well as the volume, most people are bored of them by now. A lack of a plan, progression, enjoyment, missing the occasion of a gym etc.
It’s so important to keep pushing through all of those negative feelings! The main reason for me personally is so when we get back in the gyms we have not lost as much as we think!
Structure:
It’s great basing our day around a work out, it gives us something to look forward too. The feeling of achieving something however major will never go away with a work out, the only bad workouts are the ones that don’t happen!
Endorphins:
Let’s face it, how many times have you walked out of the gym feeling on top of the world? Absolutely loads! Those endorphins can determine how much of a success your day becomes, why the hell would you not want that? Of course training at home you won’t hit that PB every week, but you will release the endorphins and get a high!
The social side:
If you’re seeing a PT you get that extra slice of normality, I absolutely live by ‘be the best hour of your clients day’ when someone walks away from a session I want them to sit in their car and think, yes! That’s what it’s all about! Hard work, enjoyment and the feel good factor!
Community:
Training has always had a great community around it, even more so now with online classes, client whatsapp groups, even walks it all counts towards maintaining as much normality, strength and sanity!
